Get real help from real people

Our mantra is to make you feel good about your experience and what you buy from us.

  • We speak a common language, not horticultural gibberish. We keep things simple.
  • We give you helpful shopping tips to guide you.
  • Whether you are planting in the ground or in containers, choose from our garden maps to find and arrange plants that will work together. You can do it yourself or leave the map for your gardener.
  • We supply you with plant care information online, so it's available anytime you need it. Just search for your plant and print out the page for guidance.

Find the plants you want quicker than ever

No more confusion. Get to what you need fast with our extensive search capabilities:

  1. Foolproof your garden with plants that grow well in your climate zone and share the same water and exposure requirements.
  2. Add your favorite features and uses: Do you want pretty flowers or foliage? How about fragrance? Do you like your gardens to attract hummingbirds or butterflies? Does it need to be drought tolerant or deer resistant? There are many choices and they're all yours.
  3. Mix and match results by heights - Low, Medium, Tall - and use our garden maps to help make arranging a breeze.

If you prefer that we do all of the thinking for you, choose from our theme gardens and you're done.

Either way, you'll have a garden that makes you proud in record time. And you didn't have to wade through endless choices either.

Let your plants come to you

Because we are web-based, you can shop when you can and have your order shipped to your doorstep (4" plants only). If you live in Santa Cruz County, check out our delivery option. Pick-up can be chosen by locals, Bay Area residents or visitors. In any case, your plants will be ready when you are.

If you prefer to shop in person, our season begins April 16 and ends November 30. During those months, feel free to stop by in person during the week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Feel connected; Participate in our Community Digs

Twice a year, we invite our customers to participate in our Community Digs. We give back by donating and planting a garden at a family shelter, school, park or daycare center in an area polled from our colleagues. If gardening hasn't felt therapeutic before, this will do the trick.
